What Does The Course Entail?

As previously explained the course is carried out over two years. Over the two years the course covers a wide range of engineering activities. The bulk of the course is theoretical but there is still a lot of practical tasks undertaken. As you continue to read through the page some of the activities which you are required to carry out are shown.

Oxy-Acetylene Welding - There are numerous welding tasks to be carried out through out the 1st year
Electric Arc Welding - There are extra welding tasks to be carried when finished oxy-acetylene welding
Lathe work - There is one main lathe task to be carried out with other smaller jobs
Complex Turning tasks - Small lathe tasks include making pins for the drill stand
The New Advanced Manufacturing Cetnter - The new AMC is now is use
Bench work is also a must - There is a chance to make a tool box when the welding is finished
